Dr. Carmen Wright, Au.D., F-AAA
Lake Oconee Audiologist
Dr. Carmen Wright joined the Hearing Associates staff at Lake Oconee early 2008 and brings over 11 years of experience. She received both her Bachelor's degree in Communication Science and Disorders and her Master's degree in Audiology from the University of Georgia. She completed her Clinical Fellowship Year with the VA Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She received her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Arizona School of Health Sciences.
She has worked for a large private practice of Audiologists and a multi-physician ENT practice. Dr. Wright is an advocate for hearing protection when exposed to loud noise. She will be the first to tell you that you need to be wearing ear plugs around lawn equipment, recreational shooting/hunting, concerts, NASCAR races, etc. Dr. Wright enjoys helping people that have suffered hearing loss. Improving communication skills allows for a better quality of life! She is thrilled for her patients on the day they arrive to be fit with hearing aids for the very first time. While she performs diagnostic evaluations and hearing aid fittings, as most Audiologists do, she also enjoys testing and rehabiliting patients suffering from dizziness and vertigo.

Wright is licensed by the state of Georgia, and is the North Georgia
representative for the Georgia Academy of Audiology and fellow of the
American Academy of Audiology. She currently resides in.
Dr. Wright currently lives in Watkinsville with her husband and two daughters.
