Currently, the foundation is researching a cure for tinnitus, which is ringing in your ears that often signals a loss of hearing. There are many ways to help out with this foundation. - Hearing Loss Association of America – Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) prides itself as being the largest national organization for helping people with hearing loss across the U.S. Its mission is to provide resources and support to individuals with hearing loss and their families while educating the public about hearing impairments. HLAA does work on a local, state and national level and part of its mission is to influence legislation that impacts the hearing impaired.
