What to Expect
at Your First Appointment

No matter which location you visit us at, you will always be greeted by a friendly team member and receive the utmost care.

1. We begin every appointment with a conversation to get to know you. We will ask you some questions about your hearing ability, your family history, and your medical history. At this time, we will also go over intake forms and any paperwork you filled out.

2. Then we will perform an ear exam by looking at your ear canal and eardrum with an otoscope. If you have any impacted earwax that is affecting your hearing, we can remove that in office.

3. Once we’ve determined your ears are clear then we will begin the hearing test. You will sit in a sound booth with headphones on and we will assess your ability to hear different tones at various volumes.

4. We will go over the results of your hearing test (audiogram) with you and answer any questions you may have. If you would be a good candidate for hearing aids then we will go over some options.
